J.C. Vickery to their Majesties
Zeldzame zeer grote reisklok een zogenaamde Giant in Corniche stijl. Mooi groot en origineel verzilverd echappement.
Weekloper met halfuur met slagwerk op grote rondgong. Wijzerplaat -in topstaat- gesigneerd met "J.C. Vickery to their Majesties 179.181.183. regent St.w"
Deze Giant klok voldoet uiteraard aan de standaard maat, minimaal 9 inch hoog, zie ook "Carriage clocks, their historie and development", by Charles Allix, blz. 186. Op de bovenkant is gegraveerd: "To Sergt. Major G. Cliffe. From the officers of C. Squadron, 1915, ...etc.....". Datering dus ca. 1915.
Afmetingen zijn: HxBxD: 25 cm of (met de handel omhoog) x 13,5 cm x 11,5 cm. (9.8 inch x 5.3 inch x 4.5 inch)
